Welcome
Thanks for checking out The Rooted Coop!
We are a Christ-centered, family-oriented community built on the truth of Psalm 1: that those who delight in the Lord and stay grounded in His Word become like trees planted by streams of water—steadfast, nourished, and fruitful.
At The Rooted Co-op, we learn and grow together as families. We believe education should be safe, joyful, and surrounded by a supportive village. This is not a drop-off program; this is a hands-on community where every parent serves, every child belongs, and Christ remains at the center of all we do. Together, we cultivate a place where children thrive, families connect, and faith takes root.
We would love to connect with you to see if we are the right fit for your homeschooling journey!
FAQs
What ages can participate?
You must have at least one child over the age of 5 in order to attend co-op! As long as one of your children meets the minimum age, we offer nursery classes for younger siblings!
Am I required to teach every semester?
We are a parent led co-op, and rely on parents to lead classes each semester! However, if you're in a special season of life (pregnant, nursing, overrun with littles) an exception may be made during some semesters to allow you a break. This is not an exception that could be made each semester, as we need everyone contributing in order for co-op to function in a healthy manner.
Do I have to come up with curriculum?
Yes and no! If you're leading a class we want it to be something you're passionate about, and you will be required to submit class plans. That being said, there are lots of mommas involved that have taught before and can help you build out your class plans/come up with ideas! It's not as scary as it may seem, we promise!
